I was introduced to Florin by a friend some years ago. He came with a very good recommendation, so I contracted him to renovate and build an extension on my house which required a complete reconstruction. It was not long before I realised what real service is – having put up with a lifetime of dealing with builders and tradesmen who did shoddy work, broke promises, didn’t turn up for work etc, and paying through the nose.
From start to finish no request was too much for him, and his quality of workmanship was “Board of Works” standard. He delivers what he promises, is a pleasure to work with, is attentive, considerate, helpful, courteous, thorough and most creative. Being a perfectionist, he takes pride in completing his work to a very high standard. His team of workers are consistently punctual, extremely hard-working and they cleaned up properly, after each day’s work here. They were most reliable and completed this 8 week project in 7 weeks.
When we completed the purchase of our new home in Ranelagh, we knew that we were about to take on a major personal project. The house, a traditional period home, had up until then been split into six bedsit flats and was in need of a complete refurbishment. We knew that we needed re-wiring, plumbing, central heating and most of the house would have to get re-plastered and ceilinged. In addition to this, we needed to get a small extension built in order to maximise the amount of light coming into the dark kitchen area. We were also very much aware that this project was going to be difficult to achieve on the budget that we had so finding the right contractors and making sure that everything was done to the standards we expected was a key factor.
Robuild were recommended to us by a local estate agent and we contacted them to ask them to tender for the project, which they successfully did. We were told that the build would take four months and we agreed a budget with them. From the outset, Robuild’s crew were meticulous in their attention to detail and standard of work. The crew were extremely professional and courteous at all times and we even got compliments from neighbours to that effect. Florin worked closely with us to ensure that every detail was to our satisfaction and provided us with tremendous flexibility during the project when unforeseen structural issues came up from time to time regarding the work.
As a testament to Robuild’s quality and professionalism, I can tell you that it took us hours to try to compile a snag list at the end of the project and that was because we just couldn’t find any fault in the work.
We moved in to the house two days before the builders were due to finish and we were delighted with the result. We do not believe that we could have achieved what we did if it hadn’t been for the commitment of Florin and his entire team. We unreservedly recommend Robuild and we thank Florin and his crew for making such a success of the project.
Florin and his team have done extensive work in my home over the last 5 years. Their work has been of very high quality, it has been completed in the agreed timeframe and any difficulties or snags that cropped up were dealt with immediately.
