An extension and renovation of a house on Killeen Road, the project brief was to renovate and extend the existing protected structure and to provide a high quality open plan living space in Killeen Road, Ranelagh. The extension has been designed and constructed tostand on its own as a contemporary element, respecting the integrity of the existing house. The glazed light-well maximises the sunlight coming from the south creating light-filled living spaces. The new extension is wrapped in a cedar cladding softening the impact the extension has on its surrounds.
